I have eaten quite a few times at Brasserie 16 now, and am always impressed by the constent quality of the food and service; the setting is gorgeous too, with easy parking and excellent views across the bay. Without doubt the nicest place in Exmouth to eat. I'll be back!

Visited the Devoncourt Hotel for Sunday carvery. The dining room was attractive. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. The meat - pork, lamb or beef - were all excellent and served on hot - very hot plates. An excellent range of fresh vegetables from which to choose. There was a good range of desserts though no prices on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Spanish Themed night
Had a great meal on the Spanish night-food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. We sat in the lounge before and the views are possibly the best in the area - we both loved it!

Having visited your restaurant many lunchtimesin the past year, I thought you might like to have some feedback, from myself and many of the guests (mostly OAPs) Ive brought with me. One from a male cousin who regularly goes on one or two expensive cruises each year, kept on enthusing that he couldnt remember when he last had such a hot meal that stayed hot right to the end.
Another said the Steak and Kidney Pie with lots of tasty gravy, tender meat a lovely thin crisp pastry, the best he had had for years. Ive always found your Battered Fish of the day excellent every time and have enjoyed a change from the eternal Cod and Plaice of other establishments, also the side salads are wonderfully fresh and varied always. Its good to have Lamb in the carvery and the pork crackling is always excellent.
Apart from the food, we have always been served immediately, and I have been on my own a few times, yet, as an elderly lady have always been treated with total courtesy by the serving staff.
